X3 Editor 2 (X3E2) is program for editing various files used by the X series of games developed by Egosoft.
Currently, it supports editing of X3 Reunion and X3 Terran Conflict files. Support for X2 The Threat is planned.
History
X3 Editor 2 was written from scratch using C# and .NET 2.0. Unlike its predecessors, X3 Editor 2 is open source.
